Not always what they seem... / Nisu uvek ono što ti se čini...

:star: ...Miki is one of the most beautiful things on Earth, despite this creepy night photo. In fact, if you're afraid of trees, who are our best friends, you're a wuss and you need help.

This photo was not brushed or filtered in any drastic way, just slightly sharpened. Miki is a proud black locust (Robinia Pseudoacacia).

:star: Miki je nešto najlepše na svetu, bez obzira na ovu jezivu noćnu fotografiju. Ustvari, ako se bojite drveća, naših najboljih prijatelja, vi ste slabić i treba vam pomoć.

Ova slika nije dorađivana četkicama niti provlačena kroz filtere do besvesti, samo sam je malčice izoštrila. Miki je ponosan bagrem (Robinia Pseudoacacia).

wow, I'm going to commend you for this shot, this is not an easy subject to capture and make it look GOOD =) what i mean is, i often try to take shots of scraggly trees like this, and they never look right, they just look awkward.. you did well with this, it's dark, eery, powerful, great work =)

Thank you. :) I think that's because Miki was a beautiful tree before the trim and he's struggling to be a beautiful tree again.

There are enormous idiots in this world and apparently, some famous people have something called "botanophobia". In addition to this, on another art site, someone wrote that this pic makes them wanna grab a chainsaw.

Half of old ladies in my street are scared of Miki. He's, apparently, the scariest of the three trees in this yard and he was as scary as now when he was five storeys tall. Since he's growing at the same crazy rate again after the trim, I assume he's super-scary.
